Professional Development

One of the key avenues for NRM Education to support schools is training for school staff.

Topic based PD around the themes energy, waste, biodiversity, transport, air, water, youth voice, food, climate change, education for sustainability, water management and taking action is available throughout the region.

Other key issues covered include what is AuSSI?, effective student lead environment groups, School Environmental Management Planning (SEMPs) and whole-of-school Education for Sustainability planning.

Where appropriate PD will be run in partnership with other service providers, DENR and DECD staff.
