Way2GO Program
The Department of Transport, Energy and Infrastructure have recently launched a new website showcasing their Way2Go program. Way2Go is a program for safer, greener and more active travel for South Australian primary schools and their communities.
The Way2Go website can be found at www.dtei.sa.gov.au/Way2Go. It includes information on how to participate in the program along with all sorts of other material such as fact sheets, bike education, school travel plans and much more.
During term 1, 2010 all schools in South Australia with a primary enrolment received their copy of the three Way2Go Teacher resource kits (Early, Primary and Middle Years). Ask the principal or check in your school’s library if you have not seen them yet.
Sustainable and Attainable
This South Australian site has a series of themed resources including Energy, Biodiversity, Water, Waste, Transport, and Air. Its focus is to aid schools intheir journey to becoming sustainable.
