Taking Action for Biodiversity
Everything in the natural world is connected. This means that everything we do as humans affects biodiversity, and biodiversity affects us. The more variety the better. This provides protection against things going wrong. Diverse ecosystems, and therefore diverse species and genes, make for a healthier, more resilient planet.

Garden Guides & Creating a Wildlife Friendly Garden
The Adelaide & Mt Lofty Ranges Natural Resources Management Board has produced two garden guides, featuring local native plants, that provide simple and inspiring garden advice for people living in the region. The Adelaide gardens booklet is for the city of Adelaide, its northern plains, foothills and southern suburbs. The coastal gardens booklet is for the region's coastal residents.
Complementing these two books is the Creating a wildlife friendly garden booklet. It describes how to attract native fauna to your garden by creating a natural habitat garden or backyard for wildlife.
All three of these resources can be downloaded from the following web page
