Water monitoring Kits

We have limited numbers of water testing kits available for students or teachers in Adelaide and the Mt Lofty Ranges to borrow, to support a unit or project on water quality in freshwater systems.  The kits are free to borrow for two week periods and may be available for longer by negotiation. To book a kit, please contact Central Adelaide on 8234 7255 or email.
Kits can be picked up and returned in person, or can be sent through the DECD courier system. (Note that we have one courier drop per week - Friday's only).
Please ensure you book in advance where possible to avoid disappointment. If you visit the office without a prior booking, we cannot guarantee there will be a kit available.

Individual Water Testing Kit

• ECTestr Electrical Conductivity meter (0-19.99 mS/cm)
• Waterwatch turbidity tube (<10-400 NTU)
• pH test papers (4.5-10.0)
• EC meter calibration standard
• Distilled water

Secondary School Water Testing Kit

• 6 x Waterwatch turbidity tubes (<10-400 NTU)
• 6 x pH test papers (4.5 -10.0)
• 1 x ECTestr Electrical Conductivity meter (0-19.99 mS/cm)
• EC meter calibration standard
• Distilled water
• 6 x Instructions

Chemical test kits are no longer provided as a standard part of our loan kits, but may be purchased from Aquaspex.
