Water monitoring Kits


We have limited numbers of water testing kits available for students or teachers in Adelaide and the Mt Lofty Ranges to hire, to support a unit or project on water quality in freshwater systems.  A deposit and charge applies and the kits can be borrowed for two week periods or longer by negotiation. To book a kit, please contact Central Adelaide on 8234 7255. Kits must be picked up and returned in person.  Due to their contents they cannot be posted.  If you visit the office without a prior booking, we cannot guarantee there will be a kit available.  These kits are also available to buy.

Individual Water Testing Kit ($30 deposit and $10 charge)

    Aquaspex Nitrate microtest (0.05-0.8 mg/L N)
  • Aquaspex Orthophosphate microtest (0.07-2.3 mg/L P)
  • ECTestr Electrical Conductivity meter (0-19.99 mS/cm)
  • Waterwatch turbidity tube (<10-400 NTU)
  • pH test papers (4.5-10.0)
  • EC meter calibration standard
  • Distilled water
  • Safety gloves and glasses
  • Instructions and MSDS

Secondary School Water Testing Kit ($70 deposit and $30 charge)
