Youth Voice
What is Youth Voice and why support it?
The term ‘youth voice’ or ‘student voice’ describes “the many ways in which youth might have the opportunity to actively participate in school decisions that will shape their lives”¹. In its authentic form, it allows students to identify the issues and be the drivers of action to address those issues.
NRM Education supports Youth Voice through: Youth Environment forums, the Youth Environment Council of SA, group networking, resources and PD for teachers and students. For further information about Youth Voice please download the NRM Education Youth Voice factsheet.
